Cable Pit Construction

Cable Pit Construction and Cable Hauling. A very complicated project within a heritage area of The Rocks Sydney CBD, numerous heritage obstacles to overcome and many interested parties to work with.

A consultant archaeologist was engaged and onsite with the Dunmain staff each day to ensure works were carried out in accordance with all the heritage requirements.

Works Included:

  • 300 mtrs of trenching, conduit laying, cable pit construction and cable installing.
  • Hauling of 20 electrical cables approximately 750 mtrs each through cable tunnels, pits and across two bridges.
  • Arrange all traffic management plans, RTA Permits and on site traffic control for duration of entire project.
  • Permanent restoration including heritage asphalt.
