Established in 1989 Dunmain Pty Ltd has become a well-established Civil Contractor and Level One ASP accredited provider, with a reputation for outstanding quality and unsurpassed service in the excavation and installation of Conduit, Cable, Joint Bays and associated electrical infrastructure fields.
Dunmain is a Level One ASP accredited Service Provider . Dunmain also has accreditation in ISO 9001:2008 Quality, AS4801:2001 OH&S and ISO 14001:2004 Environmental. Our commitment to safety in the workplace and protection of the environment has allowed us to attain and more importantly maintain these certifications. Our site specific management plans and systems are a reflection of our dedication to maintaining the highest possible level of safety, quality and environmental management.
We have a well-trained, qualified and very diverse workforce that allows us to carry out all facets of excavation, joint bay/pit construction and cable install. We are able to provide efficient and effective support to all projects through our key team personnel; these team members have over 100 years combined experience in the electrical infrastructure field. Dunmain also has recourse to consultants and additional qualified staff when called for by workload commitments. Our team allows us to maintain our reputation for outstanding service and quality and gives us our ability to exceed our client’s expectations. Training is regularly updated and plays an important role in keeping up with all current requirements in an ever changing industry; we also maintain a large modern fleet of trucks, plant and equipment so we have instant access to everything we need.
In the mid to late 90’s Dunmain became involved with the preparation works for the 2000 Olympics in Sydney. In March 1999 Dunmain became involved in contestable and network cable laying and infrastructure projects with Energy Australia. This work continues today under a contract with Ausgrid. As a natural progression from these works Dunmain has become involved in HV Conduit and Cable Install works. Dunmains key staff has been involved in major electrical underground cable installation projects over the last 20 years in various countries. These range from 10klms of 220kv Brunswick to Richmond line in Melbourne, 9klm (2 x 4.5klm circuits)132kv underground project at Homebush Bay in Sydney prior to the 2000 Olympics, 330Kv underground in Auckland NZ during the late 90’s power crisis, 110kv underground in Indonesia and 110kv circuits in Brisbane.
